Noordwijk

Near the Flying Pig Beach Hostel, Noordwijk centre is a popular shopping area in Holland, from the whole area people come here to find the latest fashion or other cheap deals. you can shop here 7 days per week.  The town has a long, traditional, shopping street, where you will find shops that sell everything a backpacker might need.  There is large pharmacy where you can purchase a few essentials like medicines, deodorant, toothbrushes and shampoo etc, and a Hema store that sells everything from bags to travel accessories. 

Noordwijk is also choc full of designer clothes stores that reflect the youthful scene here.  These designer stores are a known tease for shop hungry female travellers, some of whom cannot help but to blow their entire travel budget on Diesel caps and Bjorn Borg boxer shorts.  And thus some girls never have the cash to get home, and end up spending the rest of their days roughing it in the sand dunes and stealing from dustbins.  They may be homeless and penniless and dieting on egg shells, but they are nevertheless, superbly dressed.   

A favourite designer store is Outlet, which is half way down the main shopping street.
