The beach at Noordwijk has been awarded the renowned blue flag; an internationally recognised standard presented annually to seaside resorts that provide clean beaches, safe swimming areas, good quality swimming water, sanitary facilities, and amenities for the disabled.
The beach is only a 2 minute stroll from the Flying Pig Beach Hostel, just walk straight out of the front door. We have an array of outdoor toys, volleyballs balls, footballs, Frisbees, and beach games that guests are welcome to take down onto the beach - so just ask at Reception!
In the evenings the beach is the perfect place to watch the sun plunge into the sea. The sun sets in Noordwijk are spectacularly colourful and well-worth checking out while you are here.
